HAST and Humidity Boards

With years of experience, we have produced thousands of boards in a variety of configurations for every conceivable device.

Here is an example of a design configuration for Humidity and HAST (Highly Accelerated Stress Test) applications. Humidity, typically 85 C and 85% Relative Humidity, and HAST, typically 130 C, 85% Relative Humidity and elevated pressure, require special board material and design considerations.

Design Features

	•	Traces are placed only on the inner layers of the board for protection from the humidity environment
	•	Conformal coating is available for further protection
